The partnership which has been existing for many years had always failed to go past certain levels. This was prior to 2011’s appointment of Daniel Taub. Daniel Taub came and changed the dynamics of the relationship as it was before. He began with new ideas which would make the two countries move to the next level of partnership. The new ideas were centered on expansion of businesses deals with the United Kingdom.
This is a mission that was well accomplished at the end of his term. The trade between the two countries doubled. There was also an increase in the number of businesses that were owned by the Jewish community in the United Kingdom.

Daniel Taub is a diplomat and former ambassador to Israel. He is also an international lawyer and a writer. Currently, he lives in Jerusalem where he works with a foundation known as Yaniv Hadiv.
Daniel Taub was born in the United Kingdom in 1962. He went to school in the United Kingdom and the United States. He moved to Israel in 1989. His first role in Israel was to serve in the military. He was also the deputy principal legal advisor in the ministry of foreign affairs. He represented Israel in meetings held at the UN headquarters.
